In September 2018, I drew a lineup of beat machines: SP-303, SP-404, MPC 2000, & TR-808. As a hip hop lover, I wanted to illustrate several music machines that I’ve seen some of my favorite producers using over time and/or that have had an influence in hip hop. These are 4 of the 9 that I drew at the time.
