To clear my head before diving into a month-long challenge of drawing hip hop portraits, I wanted to draw something completely different. I chose to draw a series of beat machines, by different companies. The beat machines that I drew include, and were in the following order: MPC2000, TR-808, SP303, SP404, SP1200, TB303, ASR-X, SP505, and the TR-909. I got a lot of love from musicians and equipment heads alike, but my most notable nod-of-appreciation came from Roland themselves when they reposted my Roland pieces in their Instagram story!

A handful of these illustrations were recolored, stripped of brand names, and released as stickers in my shop.
